Ather will update its Ather Connect user interface and provide free updates.

Ather Charging

Ather Energy, which makes electric scooters including the 450, 450X, and 450+, aims to update Ather Connect with a new user interface and functionality in the coming days.

For the next six months, Ather Energy is offering free connection features on all of its electric scooters as part of a Diwali bonanza for its clients. Today, Tarun Mehta, Co-Founder and CEO of Ather Energy, announced the news on social media. He also noted that “connectivity and EVs go hand in hand,” according to the electric motorcycle manufacturer.

Ather Connect, the user interface for all connectivity services of the company’s electric scooters, will also be redesigned, according to the company.

“With Ather Connect, we have an ambitious ambition to make the complete mobility experience hassle-free, stitching everything from route planning, navigation, charging, servicing, and customising,” Tarun Mehta said. As we enhance quality, update the UI, and roll out new features, expect some adjustments.”

“From November 15, 21 to May 15, 22,” the business said in a statement today, “all features of the Ather Connect Pro subscription pack will be temporarily available to all existing and new owners of the Ather 450X, 450 Plus, and 450 free of charge.” We will pay you pro-rata if you have an active Connect Lite/Pro subscription.

The refund methods will take a few weeks to implement, and we’ll let you know when we start. Beginning November 15th, 21st, and ending May 15th, 22nd, if you haven’t previously done so, you’ll be able to see all Connect Pro features.”

Ather Energy, an electric scooter maker based in Bengaluru, is one of India’s most well-known EV firms. It now sells two electric scooters, the 450X and 450 Plus, but it intends to extend its product line in the future years.

In addition, the company has Ather Grid, which is similar to Tesla’s Supercharger and is effectively the manufacturer’s own fast-charging network. It just installed 200 fast chargers to its network in India and is currently offering free charging until the end of the year.
